Job Role - Special Educator

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for every student according to their ability.
• Planning the daily activity schedule as per IEP for effective training of students.
• Meet with parents to discuss their children's progress and to identify the educational needs and priorities of their children.
• Enforce and maintain the discipline and behaviour in class so as to create an environment conducive to learning for all students.
• Ensure student data and progress is captured and updated correctly
• Provide feedback on the curriculum being used in classrooms to the Rehab. Head
• Collaborate with the therapists to ensure child's therapy and educational activities are in sync

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• B.Ed/ M.Ed in Special Education (MR)
• RCI certification required
• 0-4 years of Work experience
• Can speak fluent English, Marathi and Hindi
• Proficient in MS-office- excel, powerpoint

Job Role - Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessment to diagnose the cause and level of disability and disorder.
• Create and implement suitable treatment/therapy plans and revise the same as and when needed for various levels.
• To conduct individual as well as group therapy sessions.
• To plan and execute the daily time table of therapy for different students – daily, weekly, etc.

• Guide and counsel parents and caregivers on dealing with the disorders and train them on implementing the programme at home.
• To conduct training programmes for parents as and when required.

• Document and update student/patient records (assessment, diagnosis, progress, treatment etc.)
• Prepare reports as and when required
• Attend the annual medical camps

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Physiotherapy, depending on the specific role with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in working with PWDs.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi (mandatory) and Marathi (preferred)
• Experience in using tech i.e. MS-office, online software to capture session data and progress reports.

Job Role - Caregiver Male / Female

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking care of Day Care boys/ Girls with Special needs in training class.
• Helping Teacher in organizing Activities for trainees.
• Taking wheel chair trainees for therapy.
• Feeding Lunch to Day Care Trainees who need help and take them to wash room etc.
• Cleaning, dusting and mopping the class room daily and any other work assigned when needed.
• Dispersal duty at 4pm -Drop day care trainees on the ground floor.
• In absence of other caregivers should take up their work.
• Helping during any program in arrangements.
• And any other work assigned if and when required.

• *** Weekly one’s a day on Saturday deep cleaning.

• Bathing Life care dependent Trainees.
• Ironing dresses of all trainees.
• Feeds Breakfast, lunch and dinner to dependent lifecare trainees, takes them to wash room etc.
• Serves tea to office staff.
• Sweeping and mopping, drying the washed clothes, removing dry clothes of lifecare trainees, folding the cloths and keeping in their cupboards.
• Changes trainees’ clothes. Making Beds with help of lifecare trainees.
• Helps in kitchen if and when required.
• Helps in serving evening snacks to lifecare trainees with Marton.
• Cleans left over vessels at night.
• Keeping Lifecare Room, Bathroom need and Hygiene clean.
• Every Saturday deep cleaning of Lifecare rooms.
• Any work assigned by Marton or Housemaster has to be done besides your regular work.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum educational of reading and writing.
• Can speak Marathi & Hindi language.
• Experience of caregiver work for 2 to 3 years.

Job Role - Social Worker

Key Responsibilities:

• Spreading awareness among parents, NGOs, Other funding NGOs, Govt. State, Central, Other States.
• Develop Contacts in Govt., NMMC, CIDCO Offices, Hospitals, NGOs, any work related to Organization for networking. Understanding the rights of PWDs Thru.PWD Act 1995, NATIONAL TRUST ACT NGOs offering the services, etc.
• Participation in all program’s arrangements on all important days like Founders Day, Anniversaries of centre, disability Days, assessment camps, etc.
• Filling up online data and forms for legal guardianship and other such government related documents.
• NIPEID (Kharghar)-National Inst teachers Training / Spl educator courses.
• Any paper works regarding trainees like disability certificates, legal guardianship certificate, UDID Cards, scholarship, bus pass etc. facilitating & guiding the parents. Should be in touch with ETC (Vashi)- Education Training centre- Parents, Children.
• Follow up with Social Welfare Depts, Thane for new scheme etc. for PWDs, National trust, Legal Guardian ship etc.
• Helping during any program in arrangements.
• Arranging annual medical checkup.
• Making Home visits.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Social Work / Master of Social Work 4 to 5 Years of experience in disability sector.
